I was fortunate enough to play in 2 prereleases yesterday at Lake Geneva Games (and if you hurry you can play in the one at 1 oclock Sunday). To save time I am going to just list my deck and my rares and go from there.
The card every deck can and should play.
What draws players to limited pool games such as drafting or sealed? I’m sure I’m not a unique playerand there are many like me, but that means there are many that would rather stick to constructedmagic as the main game type. I myself would prefer T2 over anything else. Even though I’m a slave tostandard I still enjoy the draft and sealed formats. With that being said, and seeing as how I never satdown and thought about it, let’s go over some reasons why a player like me would crack some packsand make the best out of what I got.
Well, you can't win 'em all. But in this case I got as close as I could. I'll spoil the results a little bit, I went 3-0 and got 3rd overall. Yeah.... right? Anyway FNM at Lake Geneva Games was 17 people last night and we draft. So we split into two pods. 1 of 8 and 1 of 9. I was in the pod of 9. So I sit down next to the other person in my pod who ended up going 3-0 Lil' Vicky T. (Shout Out) We open our first packs and they both have rare/mythic flip cards ...
Let's start off like we always do. The card.
